Fresh off the heels of the bass-heavy ‘I Stand Alone’ that featured Royce da 5’9, QUAKE releases his follow up single ‘Do My Thing’ which features Boston rapper Reks (Grey Hairs) and fellow Halifax artist Kayo. The track is produced by Tone Mason who were the majority contributors to The Myth, which is now available for purchase.
The track is available for download at Quake’s band camp page, once you provide a valid email address.

Here is the third official single ‘I Stand Alone’ from QUAKE‘s debut album The Myth. The track features hip-hop heavyweight ROYCE da 5’9 & frequent collaborator KAYO. The song was produced by Grammy nominated trio TONE MASON who recently contributed to Drake’s debut TML, with the track ‘Light Up’, they are also the majority producers of The Myth which is now available for pre-order here.

“Q) You have a track on the album with Detroit emcee Royce da 5′9”, can you please talk about how that collaboration came about.
A)The internet is probably one of the most important tools for an independent artist. With twitter, myspace, facebook, etc, It makes it easy to get in touch with just about anyone. I hit Royce up online, sent him a few joints, he sent back the verse and the rest was history.”

Alright people, the wait is nearly over. We have an official date for The Myth and it drops AUGUST 31st online & at select retailers.
In the meantime to hold you over, Quake went in on Drake’s Find Your Love joint off TML. He absolutely murders this beat and spits in back out. This track will be on an upcoming mixtape project due out around October.
The kid has been locked in his room recording like a mad man for the fans, so expect a really unique project from him.

QUAKE goes hard on this one. He chooses a beat were not used to seeing him rap on, but still manages to give us that fierce wordsmith attitude over a mellow and relaxed production. This track will definitely be on an up coming mixtape project we have in the works.

Today QUAKE unleashes his remix to the 90′s jam Cruel Summer. The song puts you in that summer mood and somehow makes you forget about anything else you’ve got going on, sure to cause flashback’s of A night at the Roxbury. This will NOT be on the album but you can certainly expect it on an upcoming mixtape.
